Italian-born and classically trained, Francesca Lombardo has made waves in the electronic music scene. We caught up with the DJ, producer and live performer to talk about her debut album and hectic summer schedule...
How did you break into the music scene?
I have probably never stop trying. I started my music obsession when I was a child and studied at several music schools before graduating in London. I have pushed my way in since day one and was always drawn to electronic music.
Did you always want to be a singer?
Yes, I have always sung since a young age, and I've been in different bands as a main vocalist and backing vocalist. My father and I used to sing when I was little, he had a great voice, I can still remember it.
What does your summer schedule look like?
Pretty exciting, I have some great gigs around the globe and am going back to Burning Man Festival after a two year break which I'm really excited about. I'll also be back in Ibiza in July, and the US and South America in August.
