Secrets, friendship, identity, love - Celeste Ng’s deservedly lauded second novel, Little Fires Everywhere, deals with all of these, and it’s a stunning, compelling read. It opens with a fire at the Richardson family’s picture perfect house, and travels back in time to follow the stories (and characters) which led to the dramatic denouement.
