When it comes to packing for a holiday, some of us love it and some of us loathe it.
Either way, there's definitely an art to it, which many of us sadly do not possess. We either over-pack to the point of no return (cue the kitchen sink) or manage to forget the basics, fail to coordinate clothes and inevitably end up spending an entire holiday in one outfit...
Luckily, we spoke to Glamour Magazine's Fashion Editor and packing-extraordinaire Lucy Walker, and asked her to put together the foundations of a capsule holiday wardrobe for us, once and for all.
So whether you're heading off on a beach break, planning a city escape or relaxing country retreat, Lucy has condensed our collection into a simple yet versatile suitcase-shaped selection, to take you practically anywhere in style.
My summer holiday… Cyprus, and Santorini for a wedding.
Swimsuit or bikini? Always a bikini. Firstly, I like to get a bit of tan.
Secondly, I feel slimmer in a bikini for some reason. Always go for what works for your body.
I never travel without… sunglasses, phone loaded with beach-suitable music, several books.
On the beach, I’ll be reading... The Sea, The Sea by Iris Murdoch.
I'll be listening to… Fleetwood Mac, Nick Drake, Carole King and ELO.
Summer beauty essentials… La Roche de Posay sunscreen, Nuxe Lipbalm, Caudalie Beauty Elixir.
